2008 Sanitary Sewer Easement Replacement Project

Project Description:
You are invited to bid on work comprising the construction of the following 2008 Sanitary Sewer Easement Replacement Project in Vallejo, CA for the Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District. This work includes the following eight (8) projects:

Highland Avenue and Orchard Avenue Point Repair – Project No. 081716
Work includes, but is not limited to, repairing approximately 90 LF of sags on a 8-inch HDPE pipe and property restoration.

Vallejo Junior HS– Project No. 081516
Work includes, but is not limited to, sliplining approximately 825 LF of existing 18-inch VCP with 10-inch pipe, grout annular space, bypass pumping, manhole replacement, traffic control and surface restoration (street, curb, gutter and sidewalk).

Gary Circle – Project No. 082316
Work includes, but is not limited to, pipe bursting 4 and 6-inch main and installation of approximately 490 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE sanitary sewer, traffic control, manhole replacement and abandonment, surface restoration (street, curb, gutter, sidewalk and driveway, property restoration and installing approximately 10 lower laterals and District cleanouts and appurtenances.

Raines Court – Project No. 082416
Work includes, but is not limited to, pipe bursting 6-inch main and installation of approximately 390 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE sanitary sewer, removal of a rodding inlet and replacing with a shallow manhole, approximately 20 LF point repair, manhole replacement, traffic control, surface restoration (street, curb, gutter, sideway, driveway), property restoration and installing approximately 5 lower laterals and District cleanouts and appurtenances.

Springs Road – Project No. 082616
Work includes, but is not limited to, pipe bursting 4-inch main and installation of approximately 210 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE sanitary sewer, removal of a rodding inlet and replacing with a shallow manhole, manhole installation, approximately 40 LF of point repair, traffic control, surface restoration (street, curb, gutter, sideway, driveway), property restoration and installing approximately 4 lower laterals and District cleanouts and appurtenances.

Lake Dalwigk East Shore – Project No. 081616
Work includes, but is not limited to, pipe bursting 6, 8 and 10-inch main and installation of approximately 700 linear feet of 10-inch HDPE sanitary sewer and manhole steps removal.

Plov Way – Project No. 082716
Work includes, but is not limited to, pipe bursting 6-inch main and installation of approximately 460 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE sanitary sewer, removal of a rodding inlet and replacing with a shallow manhole, manhole step removal, approximately 35 LF of point repair, traffic control, property restoration, surface restoration (street, curb, gutter, sideway, driveway) and installing approximately 8 lower laterals and District cleanouts and appurtenances.

Manzanita Drive – Project No. 082516
Work includes, but is not limited to, pipe bursting 6-inch main and installation of approximately 160 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE sanitary sewer, manhole step removal, traffic control, property restoration and installing approximately 2 lower laterals and District cleanouts and appurtenances.

The Engineers cost estimate for this project is between $525,000 to $625,000
 
Pre-Bid Conference:
To be held at Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District office - 450 Ryder Street, Vallejo CA, at 10:00 A.M. on May 29, 2008. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is a MANDATORY condition for submitting a bid.

To Obtain Bid Documents: The full set of Bidding Documents consist of the Master Bid Document and the Project Specific Supplement, which are available for examination at the office of the Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District, 450 Ryder Street, Vallejo CA.

Copies of the Master Bid Document may be obtained from the District at the address indicated herein. A charge of $100.00 will be assessed for each copy of the Master Bid Document. Copies of the Project Specific Supplement may be obtained from the District at the address indicated herein. A charge of $20.00 will be assessed for each copy of the Project Specific Supplement. Charges are not refundable.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to the Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District.
