MARE ISLAND
TENANTS
Mare Island
became a
part of the
Vallejo
Sanitation
and Flood
Control
District
through
annexation
in September
2003.
Accordingly,
Mare Island
wastewater
and storm
drainage
dischargers
are subject
to the
uniform rate
structure
for all
customers of
the
District.
With the
implementation
of the new
billing
system in
April 2005
your rates
changed. The
wastewater
rate changed
and your
bill now
includes
standard
District
user fees
for storm
drainage and
upper
lateral
services.
Action
Required:
You do not
need to take
any action.
You now
receive your
bill from
the District
with service
charges
based upon
the
Districts
rate
ordinance
applicable
to your
customer
classification.
