Appointed by the Board of Trustees, the Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC) represents a unique approach for engaging citizen participation in wastewater and storm water policies for the Vallejo Community. The CAC provides information and recommendations to the Board of Trustees on major District policies and programs including rate changes and master planning activities. To date the committee members have participated in several important activities including the development and recommendation of the SSOEP.

The Citizen's Advisory Committee makes important recommendations to the Board of Trustees. Construction of the Sears Point Storage Facility, shown left, was just one of the recommendations from the CAC.
