The
Finance
Department
is the
heart of
the
business
side of
the
District.
It
develops
financing
sources
and uses
through
budgeting
and
manages
financial
systems
in
support
of
District
goals
and
objectives.
Financial
practices
must
follow a
variety
of
applicable
laws,
rules
and
regulations,
and
financial
information
is
subject
to many
forms of
accountability
such as
independent
audit,
open
meeting
laws and
a
citizens
advisory
committee.
The
Department
is also
the
customer
service
center
for
utility
billing.
