You are invited to
bid on work in
Vallejo, CA for the
Vallejo Sanitation
and Flood Control
District. This work
includes manhole
rehabilitation and
associated work
(flow bypass,
traffic control) at
various sites in and
near the City of
Vallejo as described
in the project bid
documents. The
specified Manhole
rehabilitation
material is machine
applied (spray,
spincast, etc.)
calcium aluminate
mortar.
The Engineers cost
estimate is $461,000

Site Tour:
The site tour is
July 31, 2007 at
8:00 am at the
beginning of the
main entrace of Six
Flags Discovery
Kingdom o
Fairgrounds Drive,
between Coach Lane
and State Route 37.
The site tour is
mandatory for the
sub-contractor(s),
or for the
contractor, named in
the bid documents,
who will be
performing the
manhole
rehabilitation work.

Location:
A Site Tour is
scheduled for 8:00
am on Tuesday July
31 beginning at the
main entrance of Six
Flags Discovery
Kingdom (former
Marine World) Theme
Park on Fairgrounds
Drive between Coach
Lane and State Route
37. The site tour
will be the only
opportunity for
bidders to review
the inside of the
manholes and the
site conditions
within the park.
No other tour or
“Pre-Bid Conference”
is scheduled for
this project.

The full set of
Bidding Documents
consist of the
Master Bid Document
and the Project
Specific Supplement,

Street, Vallejo CA.
Copies of the Master
Bid Document may be
obtained from the
District at the
address indicated
herein. A charge of
$100 will be
assessed for each
copy of the Master
Bid Document. Copies
of the Project
Specific Supplement
may be obtained from
the District at the
address indicated
herein. A charge of
$20 will be assessed
for each copy of the
Project Specific
Supplement. Charges
are not refundable.
Each Bid shall be
accompanied by cash,
a certified or
cashier's check, or
Bid Bond in the
amount of
10 percent
of the total bid
price, payable to
the
Vallejo
Sanitation and Flood
Control District.
